Emmanuel Responds to Harricane Katrina!

When Harricane Katrina struck in the New Orleans area, many families were devastated and disorientated in its wake.  No one had ever seen anything like it before in America.  Yet in the spirit of humanity and Christianity, the pastor and a small delegation of the Emmanual Way of the Cross Church set out to offer their support.

Bishop Fred E. Hill (senior pastor) felt compelled to personally lead this brief mission and found other willing vessels who were happy to accompany him.  They traveled in the Church's van loaded with supplies and offered their prayers for the Katrina victims.  The pictures above are a few that were brought back to the ministry after the trip.
