Evangelist Deborah Hill is so thankful to the Lord for the privilege to be a part of His royal family and her desire is to hear Him say, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”

She was baptized in the name of Jesus and was filled with the Holy Ghost in January 1974. Pastor Deborah met and shared the need for salvation with, her then unexpected husband to be, Bishop Fred E. Hill, the next year they were married. They now celebrate forty-eight years of marriage.

Evangelist Deborah is the Maturity Pastor of Emmanuel Way of the Cross Church located in Chesapeake, Virginia. She has been an intricate part of the ministry for over thirty one years. As God has called Bishop Hill to preach and to serve at various ministries, she has been of continuous support.

Evangelist Deborah faithfully loves and serves the Lord. She willingly works in the church and for the body of Christ, as well as, ministers through sharing the preached word, coordinating workshops and retreats for women; she also serves as an outreach minister providing ongoing leadership and management training to leaders of day care centers, churches, and various community organizations.

Evangelist Deborah is a retired educator from the Norfolk Public Schools, Norfolk, Virginia.  She hold degrees from several Universities such as Averett University in Danville, Virginia, with a Masters in Instruction and Curriculum Development; Regent University, Virginia Beach, Virginia with a Masters in Elementary Education; and Norfolk State University, Norfolk, Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/ Finance. 

God has blessed Bishop Hill and Evangelist Deborah with 3 beautiful children: Marcus Sr., Calvin, and Alexis, who are in ministry or support a ministry. They have eight grandsons and one granddaughter.
